Designed to offer a multitude of functions, from desk to console table, no matter how you opt to use the Neo Deco Desk it is beauty defined. From the metal base, which features three interlocking ovals, to the stunning deep cherry finish, this desk is a testament to the appeal of versatility. The flip top, when opened, widens the desk and the drawer provides an ideal spot to stow away paper.
If the curved shape and the mix of wood and metal weren't enough to catch your eye, the thoughtful inclusion of a leather insert top will certainly draw your attention. Interlocking metal ovals, a signature motif, create an open feel for the desk's base that blends with the loveliness of the cherry-finished wood for a classic, yet contemporary appearance. Comprised of a simple box suspended on two stationary iron sawhorses, the period-defying design incorporates elements of Mission, Modern and Pasadena School in one intriguing piece. The center compartment features one pencil and two utility drawers for compact storage. And the wood-framed work surface is made even more engaging by a supple, chocolate leather top.

With sweeping curves and rounded molding at every conceivable touch point, this smooth-lined gem is an elegant reminder of by-gone days. Complete with a curved seam, continuous inset bonded leather top, the feel of our desk is pure luxury. Barrel front drawers are custom cased with matching roll front molding, and studded with antique brass hardware. The central pen and paper tray is concave, adding to the wrap-around effect. Richly detailed with rock, water spatter and rub-through distressing, the mahogany front panel glistens with natural wood grain. Two lower file drawers, a cord port and a hidden stationary shelf below add to the functional design.

For all their talent, ingenuity and technique, the Flemish Masters didn't earn the reputation they hold to this day on skill alone. In fact, their artistic influence is due in large part to a limited number of wealthy patrons who popularized and often directed their work. More than just backers, patrons were true enthusiasts and advocates for the arts. Often, they valued their financial support of the artists they loved as high, or even higher, as their own basic needs. Our writing desk is crafted to support such lofty endeavors, complete with double banded balusters set atop an elevated block style pediment. The overscaled work surface is both wide and deep to accommodate a central check drawer. The structural support beam is both artistic and substantial enough to double as a footrest. And the entire piece is carefully joined, honed, sanded and polished to bring out the grain of the native Dutch white cedar.
